TREE REMOVAL

There are many reasons to remove a tree: it may be sick, nearing the end of its life, causing damage to property, presenting a safety issue or perhaps it doesn’t fit the vision you have for your space. We would be happy to remove it safely. 

Pricing for tree work is highly variable and depends on a variety of factors – tree size, access, safety, and proximity to homes etc.

Recognizing that mature trees have a significant role to play in the world, we make this commitment: 

We will plant 2 trees for every one that you ask us to cut down. 

So what does that really mean? Well, there are two options. One is that we plant 2 trees (for every tree we remove) at our family’s farm. The second option is that we plant 2 trees in a location of your choice.  

Option #1 At Northern Grove Farm: Our family farm has wide open fields that we are reforesting. (Read more about Northern Grove here.) We are strategically planting a diverse array of trees and perennials in a way that will feed people, animals (wild and domestic) and the soil. We commit to plant two trees in your honour (with your name attached to them) as part of our long-term project to reforest the earth! This will be done at no extra charge to you. 

Option #2 In a place of your choosing: If you choose this option, you will be benefiting the earth as well as yourself, which is a perfect combination. If you opt to have us plant trees of your choice in a location of your choice, this will come with the cost of purchasing the tree, site preparation and installation.
